Another thing that my friend Lauren and I saw
were some really cute fabric-covered letters.
We both wanted the first letter of our last name.
It's been on our to-do list for a while now,
but we finally got around to making them yesterday!

MATERIALS NEEDED:
Wooden letters
[we bought them at Michaels for $3.50]
Fabric
[I used turquoise and white damask that I found at JoAnn Fabrics]
Mod Podge
Scissors
Paint Brush
First, trace the shape of the letter onto the back of the

Cut the shape out of the fabric:

Apply Mod Podge to the letter, and apply the fabric cut-out:

Apply Mod Podge to the top of the letter:

Let it dry.
Optional:
We both are totally digging the distressed look right now,
The result:

Cute! I can't believe this was your first time using Mod Podge! I've never used fabric on the letters but I cover them in scrapbook paper all the time.
