If you missed my tutorial on Mine for the Making the other day, here it is:

MATERIALS NEEDED
Piece of Fabric-
2 feet longer than the length of your table and about 1 1/2 feet wide
White Crochet Thread - size 10
Large Needle
Scissors
Hot Glue
Optional- Iron on Fabric Backing
First, measure out the size of your table and figure out how long of a piece of fabric that you need.
My piece actually came as is in a pay-by-the-pound fabric bin! It was the perfect size for my table, and was already cut with zig-zag scissors.
Score!
To create the spider webs...
Start with a french knot:

If you don't know how to make a french knot, you can watch this video tutorial:
Then stitch 6 or 7 long, straight lines coming out from the knot:

And now for my favorite part!
Randomly stitch short lines that connect the long lines...
The more random, the better!

Then, to make sure that the thread doesn't get snagged and pull, I put hot glue on the back wherever a stitch went through the fabric:

Although, I'm sure it would be better to use iron-on backing.
Make several of these spiderwebs, randomly across the tablerunner

And that's it!
I'm linking to these parties.
