YARN IT ALL: Tutorial 13 [Crochet Flower Necklace]

Remember these assymetrical flower necklaces?

They are a lovely way to spruce up an outfit...
I love to wear my cream + yellow one.

Materials Needed:
Crochet Thread [in 2 coordinating colors]
Size F Crochet Needle
Hot Glue

First, make a crochet flower following my flower tutorial:

Then, you will make 4 more...
However, these will be variations from the flower tutorial I shared.
Instead of 16 double crochets around the original circle, only stitch 10.
Then make 5 petals instead of 8 [still going into every other dc stitch].
If you would like an assymetrical necklace, make one of these flowers a different color from the rest:

Last, make 2 flowers with the following variation:
There should only be 9 double crochets around the circle.
There will be 3 petals... one in every 3 double crochet stitches:

Arrange the flowers in a necklace shape:

You can either stitch the flowers together or hot glue them:

Stitch or hot glue a chain to each side:

And that's it!

It'll make a lovely accessory for spring...

And be sure to check out Kimberly's non-crochet yarn post today!

I'm inspired to try and make my own! Yeah, I'm not much for reading crochet patterns either but I do crochet - usually wire for jewelry.

I will feature/link in a future post so others can come visit.
