I love chocolate cake.
I love cheesecake.
I love cupcakes.
And I can do basic math...
Chocolate cake + Cheesecake + Cupcakes = BEST THING EVER.
So I had to try it.
And they were UH-mazing.
1. Preheat Oven to 350*
2. Make Cheesecake Batter:
1/2 of a Duncan Hines Classic Yellow Cake Mix
8 oz cream cheese
1/4 cup sugar
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp vanilla
Blend cream cheese and sugar.
Add 2 eggs and cake mix (half the bag).
Beat one minute at medium speed.
At low speed slowly add milk and flavoring.
Mix until smooth.
3. Make Chocolate Cake Batter:
Follow the directions on the box of Duncan Hine's Devils Food cake for the chocolate batter.
4. Line your tray with cupcake liners and pour an even amount of both batters into each cup.
5. Use a knife or toothpick to swirl the batter in the pan:
6. Bake at 350* for about 10 minutes:
7. Refrigerate, then serve:
Makes about 36 cupcakes.
