It's taken a while for me to get this written up for the blog, but over a month ago we closed on our first house!
We are so very excited and thankful for the home that God has provided. We have lots of painting and projects in mind... some of which we've already started to tackle. Here are a few of my favorite spaces (pictures taken right after we closed)...
Step right this way into our living/dining room:
This is the room that sold the house to us. The open space and huge windows... yes.
On the back side of the house is the family room:
Which flows into the eat-in kitchen.
Lots of green hallways. I want to put up faux wainscoting in the halls, but David's not on board... yet. ;)
It's the first time David and I have had a master suite... we are pretty excited about it!
The "Barney" room is going to be my studio & the guest room (And actually, it's not purple anymore! But it's still a mess... my goal this next week is to get it all organized and to get it ready for guests and for some sewing):
We've been living in the house for over a month now, and a lot of it doesn't look like all of those pictures anymore. So here is a "progress" picture of the family room and kitchen so that you can get a glimpse of what we have been up to:
We are excited to see the plans that God has for this space.
